Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, has sent a condolence message to the Family of the Akunyili’s. The WTO DG expressed pain and sadness over the heartless killing of Dr. Chike Akunyili, husband of her late friend and former NAFDAC DG, Dora Akunyili. Yesterday, it was reported that Dr. Chike Akunyili was terribly shot by anonymous gunmen alongside his driver and escort on Tuesday, September 28, on his way from Onitsha to Umuoji at Eke Nkpor.
