Drake finally gets a new and totally visible face tattoo specially dedicated to his loving mother Sandra Gale.
NAL an L.A -based tattoo artist shared a video of Drizzy who is no stranger to tattoos got his mom’s initials, “SG,” tatted under his left eye on his Instagram page on Thursday (August 11), with the caption, “The boi @champagnepapi.”
Drake also showed off his new facial ink with a close up photo via Instagram on Thursday. Sharing the photo, he captioned his mom’s name along with a love heart emoji.
The Canadian rapper’s love for his mother cannot be overemphasised as he has continously referenced her in lyrics throughout his career and even named his 2018 song “Sandra’s Rose” after her, appearing on his Scorpion album.
Apart from having a facial tattoo of his mother’s initials, he also tatted up a portrait of his father Dennis Graham, on his arm in 2014.
During the 2018 Fashion Week In December, Drake paid special tribute to late “Off-White Creator” Virgil Abloh by getting a tattoo of him throwing a kite down a Louis Vuitton runway.
Drizzy also has tattoos of his son Adonis, his producer Noah “40” Shebib, Celebrities like – Aaliyah, Denzel Washington and Lil Wayne across his back, which he unveiled in Barbados in July 2020.
On his forearm, he has a tattoo of The Beatles’ John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr from the Abbey Road album cover, except he’s standing in front of them waving. The tattoo was unveiled after he broke the band’s record for the highest number of Billboard Hot 100 top 10 songs in a single calendar year in 2018.
