EFCC Allegedly Investigating NGO of Nigerian Activist VDM [video]

Nigerian humorist Deeone has revealed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is probing Vincent Otse Martin’s nonprofit organization.

This entity has sparked considerable attention online, with many individuals eager to know when the funds will be allocated effectively. Some are accusing him of attempting to defraud Nigerians out of their money.

As per a prior report , VDM claimed that his nonprofit account was compromised via the website, resulting in N180 million going missing. He mentioned he was heading to Jos with a police officer to pursue one of the hackers.

In a recent development, Deeone, who often critiques VDM, declared that the anti-corruption agency is examining the nonprofit and possesses a document to substantiate this. He also remarked that a Nigerian filed the petition to uncover the truth.

The correspondence states in sections:

“PETITION FOR AN INQUIRY INTO THE FUNDRAISING EFFORTS BY Martin. Vincent Otse (ALIAS Verydarkman). I am writing to formally request an immediate probe into the fundraising endeavors of Mr. Martin Vincent Otse, who is widely recognized as Verydarkman, having collected over N202 million via Zenith Bank account 1313679008 (Martins Vincent Otse Initiative) for alleged school renovation initiatives without proper transparency or accountability.”
