EU Observers at the Nigeria presidential and NASS election have discredited the entire electoral process while disclosing the electoral commission has zero planning & Transparency.
The European Union Observers have in an official Statement released as regards what they uncovered in the just concluded presidential and National Assembly election held by the INEC noted the Electoral Commission’s operational capacity was hampered by fuel scarcity and Naira scarcity.
It was also stated that insecurity prevented the electoral commission from accessing some local governments especially in the Southern region, and also hindered preparations in the areas.
INEC was however accused of refusing to enforce sanctions for electoral offences and for financial breaches, and also lacking efficient planning and transparency during critical stages of the electoral process.
