The Governor of Edo State – Godwin Obaseki has withdrawn the appointment of His Royal Highness Benjamin Ikhani as the clan head of Uzanu
The Uzanu clan is said to have been created during the Adams oshiomhole’s administration. The Uzanu and her neighbor Igiode the country home of Senator Francis Alimikhena have been involved in serious land feud and dispute.
Uzanu which happens to be the home town of the present honourable minister of state for budget and national planning prince Clement Agba due to this action is automatically back to it’s status as a village under weppa.
The clan is said to have Continously exhibited flagrant disregard to peace agreement and Government’s directive to maintain peace . The governor also approved the revocation of South East Uneme clan in Etsako East LGA.
