Hilton Hotel Nairobi set to Shut Down its Operation indefinitely after 53 years.

Hilton Hotel Nairobi is set to close its doors indefinitely in December and lay off a yet to be disclosed number of workers bluebloodz.com has learned.

The hotel, which is partly owned [ 40.57 % ] by the government, has hinted at Covid-19 as the chief factor amongst others as the core reason for the planned closure after more than 50 years of operation from its location at the center of the central business district.

Hilton Hotel Nairobi has been in existence since December 17, 1969, and was once upon a time the tallest building in the capital city of Kenya. It boasts of 287 rooms comprising of – 45 twin bedroom, 185 double bedroom, 7 suites, 22 pool rooms and 27 executive rooms.
