Hold Ned Nwoko Accountable For Abuse of Power – Sweezy

Sweezy, the brother of Regina Daniels, has taken to social media to accuse billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko of purportedly holding his brother, Sammy West, in custody without access to food or water since his detention.

In a heartfelt outburst on his Instagram story, Sweezy asserted that no one has been permitted to visit Sammy and that his release has reportedly been tied to Regina Daniels returning home.

He stated:

“Sammy has not been given any food or drink since his arrest. No one is allowed to see him. Ned has said that if Regina doesn’t come back, Sammy will remain in custody. If anything should happen to Sammy, hold Ned Nwoko accountable. This is unacceptable in a civilized society.”

Sweezy further shared a link to a petition seeking public backing and demanding transparency regarding Sammy’s treatment and the abuse of authority. The petition has already collected over 1,260 signatures and continues to rise.

This incident follows Sammy’s disclosure that he received a message, purportedly from the police, summoning him for questioning over various criminal charges, which he disregarded until they arrived at his residence to apprehend him. The post has ignited significant reactions across social media, with many Nigerians calling for a prompt investigation, while others have encouraged both parties to resolve the matter privately.

The marital discord between the couple has intensified, drawing heightened public attention as Ned’s actions provoke discussions on the influence of wealth and authority on personal and legal issues.
