Nigerian students studying overseas can now remit their tuition fees in foreign countries directly from their naira accounts and cards, utilizing the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) ‘Form A’ online portal.
This update has been corroborated by Nigerian financial institutions following recent enhancements in foreign exchange (FX) liquidity levels.
The Form A platform functions as a CBN-monitored avenue that permits Nigerians to cover eligible expenses such as educational fees, healthcare charges, and training sessions through the approved foreign exchange mechanism.

In a message sent to clients on Monday, GTBank announced that this option is available for individuals handling undergraduate and postgraduate tuition costs abroad.
“Transfer international tuition fees straight from your Naira account, using your naira card ” the advisory stated.
To utilize the service, clients must register and complete an application through the trade system portal at https://www.tradesystem.gov.ng
“Select Form ‘A’ application for Educational Fees. Opt for GTBank as the processing bank, include necessary documents, and send the application,” GTBank instructed.
