A Nigerian rapper and singer known as Mr Real, has voiced deep worry about the increasing security issues in the country. In a post on his social media accounts, the artist shared that he had a troubling dream where armed robbers were said to have entered Lagos.
He mentioned that the dream felt very real, describing how in it, the attackers were taking people from nightclubs and office buildings. Mr Real explained that his concern is because many of his dreams in the past have turned out to be true.
He wrote,
“My mind has been unsettled since yesterday because of the things I’ve been seeing. I dreamt that bandits entered Lagos. In that dream, they were taking people from clubs and from offices. Since I started having these dreams, about 70% of them have come to pass.”The singer encouraged people to stay alert, saying his goal was not to create fear but to bring attention to the current security situation.
Mr Real’s worry comes just a couple of days after Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, issued a warning that armed groups have gotten into several areas in the South-West with plans to carry out coordinated attacks.According to Adams, the groups are targeting Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, and even Lagos State.
