American rapper and streamer DDG is in the spotlight after revealing a personal guideline he adheres to when it comes to spending money on women.
According to Complex, the rapper emphasized that he refrains from purchasing gifts for any woman he’s involved with unless he has first provided something similar or superior to his mother. For him, doing otherwise simply “feels inappropriate.”
DDG clarified that many people mistakenly believe he’s a “lavish spender” on women, but he firmly maintains that there are strict limits. He stated that before he ever bought a timepiece for a girlfriend, he had already gifted one to his mum.
The same principle applies to larger presents like automobiles, which he says he has bought several times for her. The rapper also mentioned that while he can spend generously on outings, he doesn’t believe in covering a woman’s rent or outright purchasing a house for a partner.
He said he would only consider that if it’s a residence they both occupy. DDG previously had a relationship with singer and actress Halle Bailey, with whom he shares a young son.
