The Procurement Officer acts as a crucial component in the procurement team, aiming to deliver the company’s inventory of supplies, gather and analyze purchase requests, and process purchase orders, resolving issues related to procurement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Function as the focal liaison for the POM (Purchase Order Management) process, with internal employees and external vendors (liaison between legal and business to ensure continuity).
• Enforce the use of the Company’s standard contracts
• Validate the appropriate purchase order approvals are in place before finalization.
• Managing the integrity of data-related processes
• Timely pricing and interface of purchase orders
• Identify suppliers of goods and services
• Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
• Liaison with the vendors regarding updates and details of goods
• Analyze invoices to ensure the accuracy of services delivered.
• Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive.
• Work closely with the procurement team to understand the details of the contract process and SOP.
• Have knowledge of manufacturing industrial machine repairs
• Administer the ISO 9001 and vendor performance evaluation process.
• Review RFQ proposals and negotiate contracts within the scope of authority.
• Knowledge of the Lagos state market.
• Must have a broad supply chain management system.
QUALIFICATION
B.sc in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or any related discipline.
Masters/ Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or equivalent Experience is a must.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience working in a Supply Chain Management process.
At least 5years’ experience in purchasing and expediting
Good Knowledge of ERP.

* Physical and digital sketching of fashion designs.
* Pattern drafting and garment construction.
* Creation and adjustment of tech packs.
* Collaborating with the production team to ensure accurate designs and smooth manufacturing processes.
* Providing styling consultation and guidance.
* Bridal and ready-to-wear styling and consultation experience is an added advantage.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in fashion design and production.
* Strong skills in both physical and digital sketching.
* Proficiency in pattern drafting and tech pack creation.
* Ability to make corrections/alterations as needed.
* Experience in bridal and ready-to-wear fashion is a plus.
