The 12 year old boy Sylvester Oromoni who was a student of Dowen college was said to have been beaten up by his school mates and given some sort of concoction to consume as an initiation rite into cultism.
The uncle to the deceased who cried out on social media claimed his cousin was in critical condition until his demise. According to him , young sylvester couldn’t make use of his leg and arm, and kept crying and complaining of severe pain in his throat and stomach.
Meanwhile, the school were the incident happened have been accused of trying to cover-up the inhumane act. Netizens have dragged them for saying sylvester died from injuries sustained during Rugby sports.
Female celebrities and mothers – Caroline Danjuma and Tonto Dikeh have come out to condenm the heartless act and have expressed interest to see the outcome of the issue .
Furthermore, activist have been alerted about the heavy presence of security operatives at the School premises.
