Kanye West is reportedly set to file Legal documents to protect his Marital Asset following Kim Kardashian’s Single status Pursuit.
Kanye West with his ongoing and pending divorce issues on social media as of late, is gradually warming up to the idea of his estranged wife Kim being declared single amidst their proceedings.
According to TMZ, Kanye is worried about the fate of him and Kim’s assets if she’s considered legally single, and has reportedly filed legal documents outlining his conditions for her to be back on the market. Kanye’s lawyer fears Kim might remarry and transfer some of their marital owned assets to different accounts once she is declared single.
The Question asked by Kanye and his lawyer includes the following:
- if either Kim or Kanye pass away, Ye wants to ensure any money that is owed to either party gets reimbursed.
- If a judge can block Kim from transferring any assets out of the trust they created together,
- If its possible to make Kimwaive their marital privilege pending a final custody decision.
Additionally, he also wants Kim to waive any spousal privilege between her and a new spouse is she were to remarry, ensuring that conversations between her any new man in her life about custody could be used in court.
Meanwhile Kim has rejected all of the requests included in the new legal documents from Kanye and his legal team.
From previous reports, Kim Kardashian was said to have filed legal documents asking a to be legally single in December. She also requested that ‘West’ be dropped from her name in order to enable her revert back to using her maiden name. Her request is scheduled to be approved in early March.
