Kasia Gallanio the ex- wife of a Qatari prince’s ex-wife has been found dead in her home from a reported drug overdose.
According to reports, the body of the third wife of billionaire Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani, 73, was found in her Marbella home on Sunday morning, May 29 after she claimed her former husband inappropriately touched a child.
Kasia Gallanio was 45 at the time of her death and had been going through a rough custody battle with her ex, the uncle of the current Emir of Qatar.
In the course of their bitter legal battle Ms. Gallanio had claimed the former oil and finance minister for Qatar had touched a minor in an inappropriate way, an allegation he vehemently denied.
Spanish cops discovered Ms. Gallanio’s body in a bed on Sunday morning, May 29. The officers were said to have gained access into the apartment complex in Marbella through the doorman around 8am on Sunday.
Meanwhile, reports from El Pais revealed she was found after her youngest daughter, who lives in Paris, told police she’d been unable to contact her mum for days.
