Lai Mohammed the Nigerian Minister for Information and Culture, has pointed at fake news & misinformation as the reason for the worsened level of insecurity in the country.
According to the Minister, fake news and misinformation puts at risk the peace, security and development of any nation.

The Minister made this during his speech at a summit organized by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) titled “Summit for National Integration, Peace and Security” on Tuesday, August 23.
