A 44-year-old individual was apprehended on Wednesday in Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, after masquerading as a female to surreptitiously film women in gym restrooms.
Authorities with the Montgomery County Police Department reported they first got wind of Tshikundi Taty on October 10, 2025, when a woman at One Life Fitness Club in the 20500 block of Seneca Meadows Parkway in Germantown notified the police that someone had entered the women’s changing area and recorded her while she was showering.
Law enforcement stated that they eventually found out Taty would don female attire to gain access to locker rooms, subsequently shed his disguise and exit the vicinity after capturing footage. On Wednesday, officers trailed Taty to a Planet Fitness in White Oak, where he was located inside the women’s changing area — once more posing as a woman.
Officials reported he was swiftly apprehended and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
