NYSC Director-General Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah has adviced Prospective Corpers in the country to Desist from Spreading Fake News on Social Media.
The Director General gave the directive on Tuesday June 21, while declaring open the 2022 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course in Asaya camp, Kogi State.
Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah who was dutifully represented by the Kogi State NYSC Coordinator Mrs Mofoluwasho Adebimpe Williams, encouraged corp members to promote national unity and development and not fuel hatred or other negative vices.
Fadah Statement Reads;
“One of the objectives of NYSC is the promotion of national unity and integration. Hence, your deployment away from your States of origin and your assemblage here from diverse ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.
“This policy will not only offer you the opportunity for a broader understanding of the country, but also entrench the culture of working together in an atmosphere filled with friendship, peace, harmony, and a shared vision of a great and prosperous Nigeria.”
