Ojani Noa the first and ex-husband to actress and singer Jennifer Lopez has expressed some doubts the marriage between her and her new husband Ben Affleck would stand the test of time.
Ojani stated that With 3 failed marriages behind her already, his ex-wife is someone whose character “loves being in love” but with short lived interest, as the she tend to lose interest after the passion in her marriage has fizzled out.
In a statement to Daily mail, he said
‘I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced it will last, ‘Jen loves being in love but she’s been engaged six times. Ben is husband number four. I was husband number one and she told me I was the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together for ever.’
Jennifer Lopez , 53, who has been married 4 times and engaged 6 times, met her very first husband Ojani Noa, now a personal trainer, in 1996 when she walked into Gloria Estefan’s Cuban restaurant on Miami’s famous Ocean Drive. Ojani who was 22, then had arrived in the US illegally 7 years earlier after making 90-mile journey from Cuba to Florida with six friends on a 6ft long inflatable boat. ‘It was a miracle we survived the crossing,’ he says.
J-Lo and Ojani went their separate ways in 1998, with Ojani receiving a reported $50,000 in the settlement and the couple remained close . After their divorce was completely finalised, she went on to publicly date P. Diddy, before going ahead to marry Cris Judd in 2001 , and Latin music star Marc Anthony three years later.
