The assertion peruses: “This is to inform the overall population that Gov.  Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has delivered assets for the internment of our patriarch.

“He kicked the bucket in August last year and he has not been buried . The reasons are not outlandish. The Government sent a delegate – Minister for Information and National Orientation, Muhammad Idris.  He guaranteed us that the Fedderal government would support the entombment. Likewise, the Oyo State government swore to help in  the burial preparation.

“At the point when we fixed dates, we moved toward them and they were not impending. We chose to bury him all alone and they said we shouldn’t do that at that point. In any case, to God be the brilliance, Gov. Seyi Makinde has satisfied his commitment. We wish to say thanks to him, individuals from the seventh gathering, individuals from the Oyo State Warning Committee and each and every individual who took the matter up.

“We likewise need to say thanks to Yoruba World Congress UK for their help. They composed an open letter to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu testing the Nigerian government and the Oyo state government for their disregard. Albeit the Administration is yet to satisfy its commitment at the hour of this correspondence,” Akinkunmi added.
