P-Square, the duo consisting of Peter and Paul Okoye, have reportedly found themselves in a bitter conflict that has led to their decision to go their separate ways once again due to misappropriated funds.
This surprising development comes just a short two years after their highly praised reunion, during which they worked together, released music, and embarked on international tours.
In a recent Instagram post on Saturday, journalist Stella Dimokokorkus shared some insights, indicating that the twins have split up once more.
The primary source of contention seems to be shared finances that their brother Jude Okoye is accused of mishandling, causing a storm of controversy and tension within the Okoye family.
Stella Dimokokorkus claims that a company has shown interest in purchasing the singers’ entire discography, encompassing all the songs Psquare has ever written and recorded.
However, the terms of the deal led to the exposure of certain financial secrets.
The message said,
“The music duo Psquare is once again embroiled in a conflict, and this time, the issues causing a rift between them seem to be more severe than what led to their previous split. According to sources, the trouble began when one of the Twins, Peter, was approached by a company interested in purchasing the Psquare music catalog, which includes all their works throughout the years.
Reportedly, the potential buyers set a condition that required the brothers to provide a statement of account detailing the royalties they had received over the years. This information would help determine the price to be paid for the catalog.
“Sources close to Stella Dimoko Korkus claim that this is where the trouble started. Peter informed Jude and Paul about the proposal, but after waiting for weeks without receiving the statement of account, Peter grew suspicious. It is alleged that Peter began to investigate the situation and discovered discrepancies.
“Northside Entertainment is the company Registered by Peter and Paul but their brother Jude made himself the only signatory to the account. A can of worms opened on all fronts and Peter allegedly discovered that Northside Music ‘account had been diverting funds to a new company called Northside Music which had Jude’s wife Ifeoma as a director with her family address used for registration…
“The money in contention are Royalties due to the Singers from 2007 till date and running into millions of dollars…
“Insiders squeal that the Economic Crimes and Financial Commission (EFCC) is involved in the matter and Jude has allegedly officially agreed to fund diversion and all his accounts both in Nigeria and internationally have been frozen until further notice….
“Paul, in an attempt to support Jude, has been implicated as an accomplice in the diversion of funds. The insider revealed that Jude and Paul have been sharing the royalties, excluding Peter from the equation.

“The brothers were reportedly seen at the EFCC office on Thursday, June 6, 2024, engaged in a heated exchange, challenging each other to take drastic actions.
“Jude was in EFCC Detention until his last birthday when former NFF President Pinnick signed his bail bond so he could celebrate his birthday with his family at home.”
