PHOTOS: KANO STATE GOVERNOR & HIS AIDES OBSERVE Social Distancing AS THEY CONGREGATE FOR JUMA’AT PRAYER.

Governor Umar Ganduje and his aides on friday afternoon congregated for the first Juma’at prayers since he lifted the ban on religious gatherings in the state.

Recall that three weeks ago, the Federal government placed the state on total lockdown as part of measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the state.

Despite the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the state, Governor Ganduje earlier this week announced the lifting of the ban on religious gatherings in the state. He also gave approval for residents to hold congregational Eid prayers, howbeit under strict observance of all COVID19 precautionary guidelines which include wearing of face mask, social distancing, and all..
