The federal government of Nigeria has officially lifted the ban earlier placed on the controversial examination (Post utme) usually organized by universities in Nigeria for admission seekers.
The minister of Education malam Adamu Adamu yesterday said the universities can now organise post -Utme as a pre-condition to gaining admission into universities in the country.
Malam Adamu Adamu also urged the university authorities to make the screening fee affordable in order not to impose huge financial burden on parents.
Furthermore, he said the post utme was previously scrapped In order to fully understand what was going on in the universities. “We are now wiser ” he said.
