Priscilla Ojo Corrects “X” User Who Shared False Information

Popular influencer and mom of one, Priscilla Ojo, has talked about a viral quote that isn’t actually hers. She’s warning that sharing false information can lead to serious problems.

On Friday, Priscilla shared a screenshot from an X (formerly Twitter) user’s post on her Instagram Story.

The post claimed she had said that postpartum depression is “an illusion caused by poverty.

“The post said: “Priscilla was asked about marriage after childbirth. She said she never had postpartum depression; instead, her love for her husband tripled. She believes postpartum depression is an illusion caused by poverty.”

Priscilla strongly denied ever saying those things. She called the claims “insensitive” and “insulting to mothers.

“She wrote: “I never said this, what’s wrong with Twitter people? Be ready to provide evidence!!” She also added: “What do you mean I said ‘postpartum is an illusion caused by poverty’? Insulting to mothers, very insensitive.”

Priscilla’s response shows how worried people are about false information spreading on social media, especially on topics like maternal health. Her message is a reminder to everyone using social media to check the facts before sharing or linking quotes, especially when it affects groups like new moms.
