The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has suspended two ministers following charges of homos£xuality that spread across social media.
The church officially reported the suspension in an written update dated October 28, 2024, and endorsed by Sunday Akande, its national overseer.
The letter, addressed to the special assistant to the general overseer of administration, requested a careful examination concerning the claims against the ministers.
The memo further expressed that the congregation’s convention permits or endures no demonstration of homosexuality, refering to scriptural references.
Akande uncovered that the blamed people have been briefly feeling better for their obligations inside the RCCG.
He added that an investigation would be led in two weeks or less.
