The sad event of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, passing away has been very hard to deal with, and now there’s another upsetting update.
A new story from TMZ on Monday night says that Nick Reiner, the couple’s son, who is under suspicion of killing them, is being watched for possible suicide while he’s in jail.
He was caught near the University of Southern California and is being held in a special part of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles, where he can’t get out on bail.Rob, who was 78, and Michele, who was 68, were found hurt badly with stab wounds in their home in Brentwood on Sunday afternoon. Their daughter, Romy Reiner, found them, and it’s something no one should have to go through. The police said there was no sign that the house was broken into, which made people worry and try to understand what happened in the last hours of their lives.Nick, who is 32, was arrested that same evening and charged with murder.
More information has come out that shows the family was going through a tough time. Friends have shared that there was a loud and public argument between Rob and Nick at Conan O’Brien’s holiday party the night before the incident, and some people noticed Nick looked upset and out of place.
