The Heartfelt Moment When Sean Combs Prayed in Court

Sean Combs rejoiced alongside his legal team after a jury in Manhattan exonerated him from the more severe RICO allegation on Tuesday. However, the jury did find him culpable on two minor prostitution offenses.

Combs was acquitted of one racketeering conspiracy charge – the most significant accusation against him. Additionally, he was found not guilty of two counts of sex trafficking involving force, fraud, or coercion.

He was convicted for transporting his former partner Cassie Ventura and an unnamed individual, referred to as “Jane Doe,” across state borders for prostitution purposes.

Both Cassie and Jane received immunity from their own offenses in exchange for testifying against him.

Following the announcement of the verdict, Combs expressed gratitude to the jury. He then sank to his knees, resting his head against a chair, in a posture that resembled prayer. Upon rising, he turned to his family and applauded, while they reciprocated with cheers and applause.

He addressed his mother, saying, “Thank you. Love you, Mom. I love you. I love you. I love you.”

Combs embraced his defense team as they rejoiced in the courtroom.

Family members displayed bright smiles as they exited the courthouse on that Tuesday. Combs’ mother, Janice Combs, waved at supporters and blew kisses as she stepped outside.

While her son has been incarcerated for ten months, Janice and Combs’s children are thrilled that he will soon be home.

The prostitution offenses carry a potential maximum of 10 years behind bars for each count. Prosecutor Maurene Comey indicated they would pursue the fullest sentence of 20 years combined. However, it is unlikely he will face prison time.

Combs’ attorney implored Judge Arun Subramanian to allow his client to remain free until the sentencing phase. Marc Agnifilo proposed a $1 million bond and requested that Combs be placed under home confinement in Miami.

Agnifilo asserted that Combs poses no flight risk and that his private jet is not on stand-by in New York.

Last week, a source informed that Combs’ private jet was fully fueled and on standby at a New York airport, suggesting he believed he would be exonerated from all the fabricated charges.

Another insider claimed that the federal government put Combs on trial to “send a message.”
