Sophia Hutchins, a close friend and manager of Caitlyn Jenner, tragically passed away due to severe injuries sustained in an ATV accident near Jenner’s residence.
At just 29 years old, Hutchins was declared dead Wednesday morning in Malibu, as reported by TMZ. While riding the ATV on a local road close to Jenner’s home, it collided with the bumper of a moving vehicle, causing Hutchins to lose control. The collision led to the ATV tumbling 350 feet down into a ravine.
Sources indicate that first responders confirmed Hutchins’s death at the scene. It remains uncertain whether Jenner was at home during the incident. Hutchins was the sole occupant of the ATV at the time.

Hutchins grew up as a boy in Bellevue, Washington, and later pursued a degree in Computer Science at Pepperdine, a Christian university in Malibu, California. The student leader transitioned into a transgender woman after Jenner publicly came out as transgender in 2015.
Hutchins and Jenner first crossed paths in 2015, with Hutchins subsequently appearing in multiple episodes of Jenner’s E! docuseries “I Am Cait.” There were speculations regarding a romantic relationship between Hutchins and Jenner before she took on the role of Jenner’s manager.
