Social media advocate Martins Otse Vincent, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has claimed that Nigerian media figure Nedu Wazobia was dismissed from the Honest Bunch podcast rather than opting to depart voluntarily.
Recently, Nedu released a statement asserting he was stepping back from the prominent online podcast for his own mental tranquility. This announcement came after VeryDarkMan’s accusations regarding Nedu’s unsuitable conduct with women to entice them onto the show.
In a trending video, VeryDarkMan asserted that he didn’t opt to exit his role as a co-host on the Honest Bunch podcast, contradicting Nedu’s earlier statements. He indicated that the show’s management terminated his association to address the allegations made against him.
He expressed this while conversing with a friend, ridiculing the media figure for claiming he stepped down.
He remarked, “They don sack Nedu. He no quit, they sack am.”
Shortly thereafter, Glitch Africa studios, the outfit behind the Honest Bunch podcast, released a statement indicating that Nedu was advised to take a brief hiatus to concentrate on the ongoing situation with VeryDarkMan.
The document states, “Announcement:
Nedu Temporarily Steps Down from The Honest Bunch Podcast. Recently, there have been discussions and allegations concerning our co-host, Nedu. While these issues are personal in nature, we acknowledge the necessity of accountability and providing individuals the space to appropriately address such matters.”
“In light of this, THE HONEST BUNCH PODCAST and NEDU have mutually agreed that he will take a short hiatus from the podcast to focus on resolving these issues. This decision was taken in collaboration and with the best interests of all parties in consideration. We fully support him during this time and eagerly anticipate his return in the near future.”
“As always, The Honest Bunch Podcast remains dedicated to offering unfiltered, stimulating discussions. We are grateful for the ongoing support from our listeners and promise you more thrilling content in the upcoming weeks. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
