Toni Braxton American Singer and sweetheart is expected to Get 60% of Earnings from Burna Boy’s Song “Last Last ” bluebloodz.com has learned.
According to Burna Boy whose real names are Damini Ogulu during a recent interview with the Million Dollar Worth of Game podcast, aired on Sunday, July 3rd. He revealed that Toni Braxton is receiving 60 % of royalty from his song because it was solely his idea to sample her evergreen song “He Wasn’t Man Enough” a 2000 R&B hit .
In Burna boy’s star studded album ” Love, Damini” the track was produced by Chopstix. Speaking on why he gave the production to chopstix, he said he just wanted to use that sample and he knew Chopstix could do something crazy with it.
He said,
“It was actually my idea to be honest. I just wanted to use that sample and I knew Chopstix could do something crazy with it. I just pointed that shit out and he took it from there. That’s one of the most creative processes ever.
But she is taking 60 percent of the shit. I’m not complaining. Hopefully, she even comes out to one of the shows”.
His revelation has since caused a chaos online especially on Twitter Nigeria as many complained that her percentage was outrageously high.
