#TwitterBanInNigeria : The Nigeria Government is alleged to have lifted the suspension placed on the operations of the microblogging platform in Nigeria.
The update was made known by Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi – the Chairman Technical Committee Nigeria-Twitter Engagement and Director-General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), CCIE yesterday January 12.
In an official statement released on social media, Kashifu said the approval was given after a memo was written by Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim – Minister of Communications and Digital Economy to President Muhammadu Buhari.
