The U.S. State Department has declared that it has annulled visas for more than 80,000 people, which includes Nigerians and individuals from various nations. This declaration was made on Thursday.
As per the official statement, this decision aligns with President Donald Trump’s commitment to emphasize the safety and welfare of the American populace, branding the action as “promises made, promises fulfilled.” The department pointed to infractions such as a§§ault, larceny, and driving while intoxicated as the main justifications for the annulments.
In the year 2025 alone, 16,000 individuals faced repercussions for driving while intoxicated, 12,000 for a§§ault, and 8,000 for larceny.Other reasons for the visa terminations include affiliations with terr%rism, endorsement of terrorist endeavors, concerns for public safety, and exceeding visa allowances.
