The UAE [United Arab Emirates] has finally granted Nigerian owned Airline ” Air Peace ” Seven weekly flight frequency in a bid to avoid diplomatic chaos.
According to Nation news report, the Nigerian owned airline was given a permit to fly directly to Dubai instead of Sharjah Airport. This new development was conveyed in a letter addressed to Air Peace and dated 13th December, 2021, and is coming days after the 21 weekly flight frequency given to Emirates Airline was withdrawn by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as reported by bluebloodz.com
Meanwhile, the ban which stopped foreign airlines from carrying passengers from Nigeria and DR Congo into the United Arab Emirate, has been reversed.
The ban which was viewed and perceived to be a retaliatory measure against Nigeria for withdrawing the flight frequencies given to Emirates airline after they refused to do same for a Air Peace, was effected on Monday, December 13.
