UNICEF Nigeria has exempted itself and entirety from an illegal Fundraising campaign allegedly organised by Mr Opeyemi Falegan.
Mr Opeyemi Falegan who is an ex-lover to controversial actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday was said to have embarked on a fundraising and donations campaign for the people most Ukraine through the United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF.
Mr falegan from his social media post said he raised £61 for the war victims in Ukraine and that the fundraising closed yesterday and he is sending the money to UNICEF.
But events took a new twist and turn as UNICEF Nigeria released an official statement on its IG page immediately describing Falegan’s fundraising as a ”scam alert”.
The organization revealed it is totally unaware of any fictitious donations and warned members of the public to be wary of such.
This recent development comes amidst the Messy public fight Mr falegan and Nkechi have embarked upon since they went their separate ways.
Mr Opeyemi Falegan is yet to issue a statement as regards the above news to ascertain if its True or False.
