The United States of America has warned Russia of the consequence that may spring up should opposition politician, anti-corruption campaigner and Putin’s most prominent critic die in prison.
Navalny was first arrested in January after returning from russia following a novichok poisoning allegedly said to have been carried out by an FSB hit squad.
Later on, he was jailed for two and a half years following months of old fund embezzlement case , and then transferred to a penal colony in February 26.
Navalny has been on hunger strike since March 31 According to reports the russian prison guards has refused him proper medical attention for the following Medical condition s – acute back pain , numbness in the leg, and dangerous levels of potassium in his blood alongside signs of kidney failure. The allegations of which the russian authority have since denied.
The United States is said to be looking at variety of penalty to impose on Russia should Navalny die…..No further specifics into the penalty details.
