VDM Just Wants To Sell Market – Tochi

Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Tochukwu Okechukwu, has offered his thoughts on the current social media spat between entrepreneur Blord and activist VDM regarding the contentious iPhone 17 incident.

In a message on his Instagram story, Tochi voiced his discontent over what he sees as an escalating distraction and material fixation among prominent individuals who profess to be activists. He stated that genuine activism demands discipline and concentration, rather than ostentation or self-interest.

The reality TV star’s remarks seemingly targeted the ongoing turmoil involving Blord and VeryDarkMan.The conflict ignited when Blord faced allegations of marketing a modified iPhone XR as an iPhone 17 Pro Max, prompting backlash from VeryDarkMan, who accused him of deceiving consumers and artificially raising prices.

In response, Tochi remarked: “You’re not an activist merely because you’re obstinate. Authentic activism requires discipline. Now that you’ve earned a little cash, suddenly the nation’s challenges have evolved into an obsession with the iPhone 17.

Back when you were in your room, sipping pure water, your arguments were actually reasonable.“All these extravagant phones and gadgets you’re showcasing. It’s all just clamor. You’re not distinct from the others, same game, same duplicity. You just want to push your market.”
