WAEC Records Zero candidates from Sokoto and Zamfara state Public Schools.

WAEC has reportedly zero Records of candidates from public schools in Sokoto and Zamfara state as the  West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) approaches.

According to reports, Mr. Patrick  Areghan Head of the Nigeria National Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), in an announcement on Monday May 9, said the examination is slated to hold from May 16 to June 23. He made this known while addressing newsmen on the council’s preparations and readiness for the conduct of the forthcoming examination in Nigeria.

Mr Areghan noted that while private schools in the states had registered their candidates for the examination,  “the reason why candidates from public schools were not registered remains unknown.”
