What We Know About Beyoncé’s Stolen Unreleased Songs in Atlanta

On July 8, in Atlanta, Georgia, a break-in targeting Beyoncé’s choreographer and a dancer took place. Authorities have issued a warrant for an unidentified suspect after stolen computer drives containing unreleased music from Beyoncé were taken from a rented SUV.

Choreographer Christopher Grant, 37, and dancer Diandre Blue informed the police that they parked their Jeep Wagoneer close to the BeltLine trail at about 2 a.m. on July 8.

Upon returning to their vehicle, they found the rear window shattered.

This incident transpired just two days prior to the four-day stop of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta.

The duo reported that the thief made off with two suitcases “holding some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé.”

According to a police report, among the stolen items were “five jump drives containing watermarked music, unreleased tracks, show footage plans for past and upcoming shows, and a setlist.”

Additionally, an Apple MacBook, AirPods, and designer apparel were also taken.

Authorities tracked signals from the MacBook to a location near the site of the break-in. Officers examined surveillance footage that documented the incident.

An officer noted in the report retrieved by WSB-TV that “there were several vehicles in the vicinity from which the AirPods were pinging.”

A suspect has been identified and a warrant has been issued for their capture. However, the suspect remains at large. Police describe the individual as operating “a red 2025 Hyundai Elantra with a Georgia license plate.”
