Why Ray J Believes Diddy Should Be Free of All Charges

Ray J is among various public figures who have openly praised the trial outcome for Sean “Diddy” Combs, yet he holds the belief that Diddy ought to have been exonerated of all accusations.

Diddy Combs was convicted on prostitution-related charges but was found not guilty of the more severe accusations, including sex trafficking and racketeering.

“Indeed, the significant charges were dismissed,” Ray J notes in the video. “No, [Diddy] ought to have been absolved of every single thing—every allegation mentioned on the document,” he continued.

“I genuinely believe he’ll be released today; he absolutely should gain bail today,” Ray J remarked. “I just sense he’s heading home, he’s off to Miami.”

Diddy is currently awaiting his sentencing while incarcerated after a judge refused his bond request. A remote hearing has been scheduled for next Tuesday to address the timeline for sentencing.

Diddy’s counsel has expressed a desire to expedite the sentencing process as swiftly as possible.

Diddy’s lawyer, Teny Geragos, released a statement asserting his innocence following the verdict.

“I have been stating this from the very start of this case: Sean Combs has not sexually assaulted anyone. I’ve maintained this for months. We’ve reiterated this with each lawsuit that emerged. That has been validated. The media has consistently misrepresented Sean Combs for nearly two years,” she stated.

“He has not sexually assaulted anyone, and certainly has not been involved in sex trafficking, which the jury confirmed today,” she added.
