World Malaria Day 2021

The world Malaria day is celebrated every year to raise awareness about the killer disease Malaria, how to control it, and how to eradicate it completely.

The World Health Organization joins the world to commemorate the world Malaria day 2021 with the theme Zero Malaria – Draw The Line Against Malaria.

Malaria is a life threatening disease caused by parasites that are transmitted to people through the bites of infected female anopheles mosquitoes.

Malaria is preventable and curable. In 2019, there was an estimated 229 million causes of Malaria worldwide.

Despite progress, an estimated 1.64 billion people are at risk.
