I Feel Sorry For Men With Only One Wife – Pa. Ned Nwoko

On Sunday, Senator Ned Nwoko expressed empathy for men with only one spouse, asserting that polygamy offers men enhanced stability and equilibrium.

The representative for Delta North made these remarks while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he also addressed the recent accusations of domestic violence levied against him by his actress spouse, Regina Daniels. When questioned about how he manages four wives—something many men deem nearly unmanageable—Nwoko paused for a moment before responding.

“That’s a separate topic for discussion on another occasion. Yes, every man ought to consider that. My analogy is this: just envision standing on one foot. You know how tough that is.“But standing on two, three, or four is considerably more stable. That’s simply my analogy. So, I feel pity for those with one wife because it’s tough to balance on one leg,” he explained.

When pointed out that the Holy Bible does not support polygamy, Nwoko retorted, “The Old Testament does. I am a man of faith. But that’s not our focus here.”When asked if he had any regrets regarding his marital decisions, the senator shook his head.“No, I have no regrets. I would make the same choices again. Naturally, that’s how it should be. You should marry whomever you desire,” he asserted confidently.

Addressing the domestic violence accusations that have surrounded him, Nwoko denied them firmly, stating, “No, come on. You know I’m not a violent individual. I respect my wives, love them, and my children.”His statements followed shortly after Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, his estranged spouse, showcased a newly acquired mansion on social media amidst reports of a marital upheaval.

In a post on her Instagram account, Daniels shared images and videos of the property with the caption, “In my home, I am a Queen! I needed a roof over my head, so I secured this for myself and my family.”

The post came after a trending video from October 18, where the actress was seen in tears outside her Abuja residence, bemoaning alleged mistreatment.

“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. No more. I can’t endure the violence; it’s excessive,” she expressed in the footage.

The couple’s six-year marriage, initially a topic of public intrigue due to their significant age difference, has recently devolved into a full-blown crisis now unfolding before millions of Nigerians on social media.
