PLAYWRIGHT, POET & NOVELIST NTOZAKE SHANGE PASSES AWAY AT AGE 70

Playwright , poet and novelist
NtozakeShange has passed away at age 70.

She’s best known for her critically acclaimed choreopoem “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the
Rainbow is Enuf,” which TylerPerry adapted into a movie in 2010. According to her family, she passed in her sleep early Saturday morning.
