Bose Ogulu mother of Nigeria Grammy award winner Damini Ogulu – (Burna Boy), has been named as one of the 2021 international power players by billboard.
The billboard’s international power players list specifically recognize leaders in the music industry that have attained a global level.
Honourees in the list includes – music publishers, label executives, independent entreprenurs, concert promoters and artist managers. The honourees are nominated by companies, and fellows in the business and then selected by the editors.
Her son has since celebrated her wins on instagram. In his post on IG he wrote : ” How can we lose when we have mama leading the pack ” ?? 😁😁
Bose Ogulu was given the recognition for her work as co – executive and producer of her son’s TWICE AS TALL album amid the Covid19 pandemic .
She didn’t only work as a co- executive producer for the TWICE AS TALL album, she also joined others in promoting the album …..which won the best Global music Album category award at the 2021 Grammys.
