The iconic K-pop group BTS is set to make a comeback in the spring of 2026 with a fresh album and a global tour.
On Tuesday, members Jin, RM, V, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, and Suga shared this exciting news during a live stream on Weverse, a fan interaction platform affiliated with their management, Hybe. This marks the first occasion since September 2022 that all seven members have connected live together.
“We’re excited to announce that a new BTS album will be dropping in the spring of next year,” the group stated. “Beginning in July, we will collaborate closely as all seven of us dive into creating new music. Since it’s a group album, it will embody each member’s perspectives and creativity. We’re tackling this album with the same enthusiasm and mindset we had at the very beginning.”
As per a recent press release, the band is heading to the United States later this month to kick off the music creation process.
The 2026 album will be their first since the anthology, Proof, released in 2022. Their most recent studio album, Be, came out in 2020, while a Japanese compilation album titled BTS, the Best, was launched in 2021.
