China has reportedly developed an official patent for a mind-reading device that can detect the pornographic consumption of humans.
According to Chinese researchers the mind reading device can specifically detect when someone is watching erotic movie. The current first model of the device is said to have the ability of detecting brain waves that are automatically activated when one is exposed to pornography. The mind reader will then process a collection of photos and videos and flag anything that is perceived as suspicious.
The researchers took a step forward as they conducted a study on 15 adult male college students who were placed in front of a computer screen playing porn while wearing the device on their head.
Director of the electrical engineering department at Beijing Jiaotong University, Xu Jianjun, who carried out the research revealed that the purpose behind the device is “to detect bad information”. He also claims that so far, the results are 80% accurate and can filter out additional signals that can trigger brainwaves when emotions are emitted from non-porn-related content.
China government haven declared pornography illegal security officials in the country are getting serious about cracking down on pornography consumption by deploying censorship agencies known as “porn examiners” whose sole duty is to search the internet to flag inappropriate content.
