Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United superstar, has expressed appreciation to the club’s supporters for cheering and standing solidly behind Erik ten Hag’s men during their face off with Arsenal FC.
Ronaldo also hailed his Manchester United teammates for their 3:1 victory over Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday Evening and urged them to continue the good form.
Man United spoilt the unbeaten run record of Arsenal, thanks to Antony’s strike and two goals from Marcus Rashford.
Although Bukayo Saka did score for Mikel Arteta’s side against the Red Devils, but that was all there is to it as Manchester United stood tall in winning.
Speaking after the game, Ronaldo, who did not start the match, wrote on his Twitter handle:
“Well done, lads! And a very special thank you to our supporters! Let’s go, Devils!”
Ronaldo is expected to begin playing when Man United comes face to face with Real Sociedad in the Europa League in their next game which is on Thursday.
