Indiana man Timothy Ray Lisby, aged 59, has been charged with aggravated battery and is currently in custody without bond, as per records from Marion County Jail.
A witness, Jeremiah Green, who was present during the altercation between Lisby and his son, Christopher Allen Lisby, believes that the father should be facing murder charges.
The case has been transferred to homicide detectives for further investigation following the initial battery charge. Green recounted that the argument over dirty dishes escalated into a physical confrontation, resulting in Timothy Lisby using a spoon to stab his son.
Subsequently, he grabbed another sharp object from the kitchen and inflicted a fatal wound to Christopher’s chest. Despite efforts to save him, Christopher Lisby passed away the following day due to his injuries.
Green, who called emergency services, mentioned that Timothy Lisby attempted to provide first aid to his son after realizing the severity of the situation.
The loss of his friend has left Green devastated, unable to find solace in sleep. He has vowed to testify against Timothy in court.
