INEC Nigeria’s Electoral commission body has disclosed that all Sensitive Election Materials for the forthcoming General Election 2023 has been evacuated from the CBN.
Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the independent National Electoral commission (INEC), revealed that sensitive election materials are no longer being kept at the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN).
According to Mahmood beginning from the Ekiti state Governorship election, INEC will not keep its sensitive materials with the CBN.
Mahmood made the declarative statement while responding to questions in an ongoing dialogue in Elections in Abuja, added that the decision is to guarantee that electoral materials for the lined up Elections are not compromised.
