A male prisoner who is reportedly serving time after being convicted of homicide attempted to escape prison dressed as a sheep in Bolivia.
Jose Luis Callisaya Diaz was sentenced to serve 15 years at the San Pedro Choncochocoro Penitentiary Center and disguised himself as a sheep as he tried to break through an external wall on February 4. When prison officials caught him, Diaz imitated the animal by grazing on grass, but they didn’t fall for his shenanigans.
Since his escape, Diaz is expected to face legal and disciplinary action. The prison is known as one of the largest prisons in La Paz and considered its own society as reported by Metro UK.
