A man 31-year-old has been arrested in North west South Africa for allegedly raping his newborn daughter .
Captain Aafie Botma the police spokesperson at the province in a statement on Sunday, October 22, 2023 said the suspect was arrested on Thursday, October 19, after it was alleged that he had raped his one-month-old daughter in Kokedile Drift West.
The Police Commissioner in the North West, Lieutenant General Sello Kwena condemned the shocking incident in the strongest possible terms and applauded the police and members of the community for their swift reaction that led to the arrest.
The evil minded father has since been charged with rape.
