Meghan Markle is said to have explored the possibility of writing a book focused on life after her separation from England’s Prince Harry. While they remain married, Meghan’s team reportedly met with a publishing house to assess the potential interest in a narrative concerning her ‘post-marriage’ experiences.
This disclosure substantiates claims regarding Meghan’s ‘professional separation’ from Harry. The royal pair is believed to have recently undergone a ‘trial separation’.
A source revealed to Vanity Fair magazine that the book will address Meghan’s ‘theoretical separation’ from Harry, not her previous spouse, Trevor Engleson, whom she divorced in 2014 following three years of matrimony.
The insider elaborated that the book does not serve as a ‘general’ exploration of life after marital dissolution.
Meghan’s legal representatives sought to determine if publishers would ‘hypothetically be interested’ in the book should she proceed with the divorce.
Another source mentioned that the publishing entity expressed interest in the manuscript – even extending an offer. However, no written work was ever submitted.
Reports indicate that Prince Harry remains unaware of Meghan’s behind-the-scenes intentions.
Before exchanging vows with Harry, Meghan signed a robust prenup. This agreement doesn’t provide her with sufficient funds to uphold her lavish lifestyle post-marriage.
Last month, speculation emerged regarding Prince Harry and Meghan moving toward divorce. Nevertheless, Harry refuted such claims.
An insider remarked, “Everyone has observed that they seldom spend time together anymore.”
However, the insider also asserted that a divorce is not imminent.
“They are very clear that they are not divorcing and remain as committed as ever, but that doesn’t imply there aren’t certain aspects they wish to, and must, address,” the source stated. “One area that has noticeably diminished is the romance, and they’ve promised to confront that proactively.”
Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, share parenting responsibilities for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
